With regard to the additional observations under (Y),

I am to observe that the estimates for training of nullahe

had necessarily been approximate only. It is however

intended to carry out the training works on the most

economical lines consistent with efficiency. Experience

has shown that the extent of work necessary to render areas

free from malaria, has always been under-estimated. it is

not considered therefore that any economy on the expenditure

proposed by the Goverment will be possible.

(R) The Government is unable to accept the modifications

proposed by the promoters, but is prepared to modify the
